Wildflower Tea Shop & Apothecary, 1423 Market St.

This cozy shop located in the heart of Chattanooga’s Southside is meant for you to sit and be present while you sip on your cup of tea. Choose from the shelves of loose-leaf teas and herbs and speak to the knowledgeable staff about the healing benefits of the teas.

Bonus: The shop also hosts a variety of events and workshops that foster its intentions of deep connection and healing.

Have a cup of tea while learning historical facts during a train ride.

The Homefront Tea Room, 4119 Cromwell Rd.

Enjoy your tea in the upstairs viewing room of the Grand Junction Depot and then take a nostalgic 65-minute train ride through the Tennessee Valley. Along with a selection of teas, this season’s menu includes scones, quiche, chicken salad, tomato bisque with grilled cheese sandwich bites, and a variety of sweet treats.

Located in nearby Ooltewah, Mountain Oaks Manor has several Victorian-style tea rooms in its antebellum mansion. Afternoon Tea includes a bowl of house-made soup, chef’s choice three-tier presentation of petite sandwiches, scones, teas, and more.

Bonus: Did you know that the world’s largest collection of teapots is located in Trenton, TN? If you’re up for a road trip, the Trenton Teapot Museum is located at 309 S. College St. and is home to several million dollars worth of antique and collectible teapots. Pro tip: Admission to the museum is free if you want to check out the collection for yourself.
