Cave Walk to Ruby Falls

White Water Rafting

Looking for an adventure this Labor Day Weekend? Whitewater rafting might just be the highlight of your trip. Located about an hour from Chattanooga in the Cherokee National Forest, the Ocoee continues to host world-class paddlers at events throughout the year.  The dam-controlled river has consistent releases that enable prime rafting conditions from the spring through the fall. Visitors can expect about 10 miles of excellent Class III and Class IV rapids, making the Ocoee one of the top whitewater rafting locations in the country. Sound like fun?

Be The Change: Jonathan Peyton & In The Company of Wolves

September 3 I 35 Station Street I 7:00pm I $20

For years, Be The Change Youth Initiative was a family ministry focused on encouraging youth to use their gifts and talents to make a difference in the world. Jonathan Peyton is a singer/songwriter from Woodstock, Georgia. He says that writing music has become a way of processing through life and relating to others and their stories. Jonathan has recently teamed up with guitar player/producer, Sadler Vaden (Jason Isbell & the 400 Unit), to release his newest music. In the Company of Wolves is a Chattanooga-based indie duo who intertwine their love for music with a passion for story-telling with a unique sound, both musically and instrumentally (think Glen Hansard meets Phoebe).

Rail and Hops Brewers Festival

September 3 I Miller Park I 5:00 - 10:00pm

This curated event with a focus on the artistry of brewing handcrafted beers from brewers that are Local, Regional, and beyond as your favorite food trucks and tents. Featuring Lee Fields & The Expressions and more on the EPB Community stage!

Classical X Candlelight with Ben Van Winkle and The Figment

September 3 I Coosa Mill I 7:30pm I $20

The Pop-Up Project’s limited series of events kicks off with an intimate evening of classical music by candlelight, led by Cellist Ben Van Winkle of the Chattanooga Symphony Orchestra.  21+ Must show ID at door.
