CHA Spotlight: An inside look at NOOGA’s arts + culture scene

Get an inside look at Chattonooga’s rich culture. Visit Chattanooga’s monthly CHA Spotlight video series highlights our city’s culture, heritage, and arts scene. Featuring NOOGA’s places to see + people to know, Noogans and visitors can  learn about local creatives, business owners, cultural hubs, musicians + more.

This month’s feature is Six18, a local restaurant and lounge specializing in Southern soul food and live music to the likes of local saxophonist Frank B. 

Other CHA Spotlights include:

  • Genesis the Greykid: This world-renowned artist and Chattanooga local describes his hometown a “a great place to really incubate ideas… because the community is gonna rock with you.” 
  • Chattanooga African American Museum: This museum pays homage to Chattanooga’s African American history and famous names (think: Bessie Smith, Reggie White, and more).
  • Soundcorps Sidewalk Stages Street Performers: Filling the streets of Chattanooga with live music, this initiative enlists local talent to put on hundreds of street performances per year.
